Its interesting that you can play the game on cncnet. o aye ment to mention I can play online through cncnet and it runs ok but im god awful at the game and would like to relearn it a little before I get owned everytime and end up throwing my laptop out the window lol might try a clean install and see what happens. the game loads up etc but will crash bout 5 mins into a game and will crash if I tab out of it to even try and adjust the cpu settings. If its in cncnet please enable graphics patch from the settings and also download ddraw.dll file, i heard it fixes most of the problem with the cost of lag on pause menu.
Also please tell if you encounter this problem in simple game or in cncnet. They are caused by the movies.mix files so you could try find some blank versions of them (This happened to me on Windows xp sp3 only). Also i experienced the freezes in campaign only. To leposean: Please post your pc specs: OS, Ram etc. Open the aqrit.cfg and change NoVideoMemory and forcedirectdrawemulation to 1.Do not change only one of them cuz it will result in black screen with sounds only. So as a whole I feel like the online achievements could be marked as partly-unobtainable maybe? I at least haven't been able to play with absolutely anyone on this profile as of yet and anyone who has tried to play with me specifically gets the same errors.To rapture_ni:Windows 7 64bit, 8/8.1 and 10 results in a black screen when launching. Links to others sharing the issue across multiple systems. Certain accounts work with others and I could get my friends account to work with some of my alts too. There are certain other errors in just playing the game and going in menus that cause freezing etc but I haven't encountered those.
Same issue as above but you will not be able to ready up to start the match or select any options such as faction etc Same issue again but you wont be able to set your map position, if you hit X while being unable to select anything on the position set screen your game will error code, if on 360 the game will hard crash your entire console saying something like serious system failure, error, exception in exception handler, literally a game and console breaking bug. The following errors are part of the overall issue: In the online lobby you will see your gamer picture twice and the other players tag will be invisible, when you start the match you will black screen and be forced to crash the game. So I have been having an issue where I cant play with absolutely anyone on this profile.
